I MOSTLY THINK ABOUT BODY PAINTING, CHOCOLATE, ARTS IN DUBLIN, TATTOOS, LONDON, LEARNING HOW TO DJ, MOVING TO CHICAGO, FASHION, RACISM & INTEGRATION, MAKEUP, COLLEGE (ENTREPRENEURSHIP IN DIT & HOW IT DOESN’T COMPARE TO ARTS MANAGEMENT IN IADT), MUSIC – A LOT.
I’ve no idea where this thought came from but I literally LOL’d like hell.. When I was like 7, my friend Sinead fell out of her bunk-bed and broke her arm. I heard the ambulance ‘cause she just lived a couple of houses away from me. So being the super little friend I was, I rushed over to see if my pal was okay. Sinead was being stretchered out on… a stretcher I guess and she was hysterically crying. Like proper balling. I was shocked to see my friend in such pain and so began to cry myself. Noreen, her mum turns around and asks what the hell I’m crying for. I obviously look up at her and be like are you kiddin’ me? To which she replied “Claire the only reason she’s crying is because she thinks she’s dying and you’re going to take all her Barbies.” #truestory
